YIN & YANG

As we promised, these are more photos and outfits from the Meowchic shoot we recently did! It was so much fun as always and their outfits are chic and classic as usual :) You can check out their website here

The first outfit is a Stella silhouette dress in both black and nude. It gives you that interesting neckline, which is great when you want to showcase or highlight your shoulders and arms. What's great about this dress is that there is no need to over accessorize. We paired ours with statement necklaces as you can see and that's basically it to complete the outfit! Will definitely keep these dresses in mind when out to our next party or a night out with friends.

The second outfit is an obviously more chilled out look, and oh so comfortable! We love walking out the door with jeans and a comfy sweater that will make you both comfortable and looking chic without too much effort. We're wearing the Dolce jewel sweater in both white and soft pink. The detailing on these sweaters is what we love the most! It adds such a feminine feel to it and gives it that little something extra, which is what we always look for in a piece. It's also great if you paired this sweater with long jeans, a full skirt, trousers, a high waist skirt etc., so it goes along well with a lot of other pieces in ones closet. If you wish to order any of these pieces, feel free to visit the website and place your order :)

We'll post more photos from the shoot soon!
Here in Indonesia, a four day weekend has commenced (yay!), and it turns out we'll be going back to Bali for the long weekend to spend with our family! We want to wish everyone a happy weekend and to stay fabulous as always!

NAIL ART: CIATé CAVIAR MANICURE

Other Ciaté sets you can find:

Ever wondered how you can spice up your nail regime? Look no more! Creat an instant nail make over  with Ciaté Caviar Manicure.

While we were in Bali, a friend from the states gave us this manicure set as a Christmas gift. We tried it, and we loveeee it! So I'ts an avante-garde two-step nail art kit developed in London. The kit uses colored micro-pearls to give a 3 dimensional effect on your nails. There are different sets of colors, and the one we used was a rich brown polish with turquoise and brown pearls. It's super easy to use and the end result gives this delicate sophisticated look. When you're using it, you almost don't want to use so many pearls to cover the whole nail because they look so precious and you want to save as many as possible haha. The set also comes with a mini funnel to help you easily move unused pearls back into the bottle.

All you have to do is (1) apply two coats of polish (2) place your finger over a tray and sprinkle caviar pearls over your painted nail while it's wet (3) once fully covered, gently press and compact the caviar pearls into your nail bed to ensure durability (4) leave your nails to dry for 15-20 minutes and voila!

And although the results are absolutely gorgeous, unfortunately this manicure lasts only up to 48 hours. Which is not a very long time at all. The pearls easily fall off, so you must be quite cautious. But other than that it's amazing, girls. Purchase it at any Sephora store, or order it on their website :).

VENUE HIGHLIGHT: BISTROT

There is a particular venue highlight that we have forgotten to post from Bali that we would love to share with you guys. So here it is...

We had passed along this place several times as it is relatively new, but never paid a visit. We finally had some time on our hands and it was time well spent as we had a lovely afternoon in this very chic and vintage cafe/lounge/restaurant. It's tucked and situated in the bustling and famous East Street in the Seminyak area, Bali. For those of you who may know, it's on the left side of the road right after Mamasan and just across from the Red Carpet bar/restaurant. When you first walk in, you're greeted by high ceilings and a very warm European ambiance. We absolutely loved the vintage decor with rustic wooden tables paired with the rich interior furnishings. From the opulently jeweled lighting to the beautiful vases of violet flowers placed on every table, it was a feast for the eyes.  It's surprisingly spacious inside as from the outside it does not look as so.

Nothing beats tea and desserts for us and thats just what we ordered. We each ordered Jasmine tea, the chocolate mousse served with coconut sorbet, and a strawberry type dish with macaroons and vanilla ice cream. All in all, the desserts were quite delicious. The staff were satisfactional to an extent. They were welcoming, pleasant, and very friendly, however a bit short when it came to the content of the menus. We asked questions concerning what certain dishes consisted of and they were not quite up to date with the latest  information. Other than that, we have no complaints. It's great for large group lunches or dinners as they do have larger tables on the first floor or just some tea and desserts with your girlfriends (like us!). We spent hours chatting and munching away! :p  Bistrot is a fabulous place and we look forward to our next visit!
